FAQ

Adhesive questions, answered

What service temperature range do your adhesives cover?

Across the range, −40°C to +150°C. Standard permanent acrylic runs −40°C to +90°C, our high-temperature grades hold bond strength to +150°C, and freezer grades stay flexible down to −40°C. Specialty silicone formulations extend further still, from −60°C to +200°C.

Can you label frozen and refrigerated products?

Yes. Standard permanent adhesives lose tack below 5–10°C and fail completely in true freezer conditions of −18°C to −40°C. Our freezer-grade adhesives keep aggressive tack on frozen surfaces, resist moisture and condensation, and hold through cold-to-warm transitions — with food-safe options for direct food contact.

Will your adhesives stick to low-surface-energy plastics?

Yes. We specify by surface energy: above 40 dynes/cm a standard adhesive is fine, 35–40 dynes/cm needs a high-tack grade, and below 35 dynes/cm — HDPE, PP drums, textured containers — needs an aggressive permanent or LSE formulation. Tight curves matter too: under 40mm diameter needs ultra-high tack.

Which adhesive comes off cleanly?

Our removable grades lift without residue, typically for 6–12 months, at a controlled 5–10 N/25mm. Permanent grades build the other way — bond strength increases over the first 24–72 hours to 10–20+ N/25mm and is not intended to be removed.

Do you supply food-contact compliant adhesives?

Yes. We run FDA-compliant adhesives for direct and indirect food contact, including chilled and freezer applications. Tell us the product, the container and the storage temperature and we will specify the grade.
